My Chair T’ai Chi and Yoga Class is an ongoing class for older men and women or anyone who has difficulty getting up and down from the floor. As a senior myself and having taught both Yoga and T’ai Chi for 25 + years, I understand what it’s like to be in an older body and how to best take care of ourselves while improving our health and well-being.

You may start any time and No experience is necessary.  Beginners are warmly encouraged. Dress comfortably – all you need is a sturdy chair with no arms.  The class is beneficial, gentle and fun.

Combining easy-to-follow movements from Gentle Hatha Yoga with T’ai Chi exercises, you will gain flexibility, strength and balance, improved circulation and lower blood pressure. You’ll also enjoy mindfulness meditation and relaxation for finding inner peace and calm.  You may choose to stand or sit (or some of each) depending on your ability and preferences.  Now offered on the Zoom platform with space available

Cost: Offered on a sliding scale:  $75/100 for 10 classes to be used in 12 weeks OR  $9/12 to drop in for one class.  This is an ongoing class so you may start any time.
